Release Date, Trailer Revealed for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

In a livestream in partnership with GOG.com, developer CD Projekt RED revealed a new trailer for their upcoming game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The game launches worldwide for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 24, 2015. There will be no pre-order grid, which forces players to choose where they want to buy it based on what content they will receive. CDPR said no matter where you buy it, the game is the same.

Every standard physical edition comes with a map, the soundtrack, stickers, and other goodies. The collector’s edition comes with all of that, as well as a hand-painted statue of Geralt destroying a monster, and a few other items as well, all of which may be seen here.

GOG.com is offering a special digital edition, in which you’ll receive a host of goodies including a digital artbook, map, soundtrack, and more. Additionally, if you own The Witcher 1 and/or The Witcher 2, regardless of where you bought it, GOG.com and CDPR are offering a loyalty program: 15% off if you own one of the games, 20% off if you own both.

The game can be pre-ordered now from GOG.com and by visiting buy.thewitcher.com, with more retailers coming online in the coming days.

CDPR also said there would be news to come at E3.
