RIFT: Behind the Scenes – Graphical Updates
Trion’s own Community Manager, Eric “Ocho” Cleaver, took some time to sit down and do a brief interview with their Rendering Engineer for Rift, ZorbaTHut. During the course of the interview (which can be read in it’s entirety here) ZorbaTHut details a lot of the improvements that have been made to the graphical rendering system of Rift. He also takes the time to explain in basic terms exactly what these changes have meant for the game and the experience of players. All and all, it’s an interesting read. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re at all interested in what goes into making Rift the high quality product that it is.
